Classes
A weekly timetable that fills itself
Put each class in once – “Mat Pilates, Tuesdays 19:00 at the village hall, 12 spaces” – and it repeats every week, ongoing or until a date. Clients see “This week's classes” with spaces left, book in a tap, and join the waitlist when it's full.
- Ready to book twelve weeks ahead; days off and holidays come off by themselves
- Class passes (“10 classes, use within 3 months”) and monthly unlimited passes – pay as you go stays the default
- Your late-cancellation cut-off; late cancels and no-shows use up the class from a pass, or not – your choice
- Freed spaces go to the waitlist automatically
- A register in one tap – or “Everyone's here”
- “Same class next week?” when there's a space
How booking works
Tap a time. Booked.
Share one link to your booking page. Clients pick a session or a class, tap a time and choose how to pay. They can book for themselves or for their child, from any browser.
Two people can't book the same slot – double-booking is impossible.
- Your open times at each venue, ready to tap
- The booking goes into both your calendars, with reminders 24 hours and 2 hours before
- Nothing fits? Clients tap “Request a time” and you reply
- Same time every week? Repeat it for up to 12 weeks in a couple of taps
- Group full? Clients join the waitlist, and the next person is offered a place automatically when one frees up
- After a session: “Book again, same time next week?”

Sessions
1-to-1s, groups, classes, passes and tasters
- 1-to-1 sessions
- Small groups and weekly classes with a set capacity, showing “spaces left”
- Blocks and class passes used as credits, or unlimited for a month
- Free taster sessions and consultations
- Duration, price per person, buffer time and venue for each
- Who can book: anyone with the link, your existing clients, clients you invite – or only the clients you pick, hidden from everyone else
- Your cancellation notice, with your own policy in your own words
Your prices, your way
Special rates, discounts and free sessions
Give a client their own price, run a promotion with a code, or hand out free sessions – and let the booking page do the maths. Every client sees their price before they confirm, and nobody sees anyone else's.
- Special rates for one client: £30 instead of £40 for a session type, or a standing discount on everything (“Family rate”, “Student”) with an end date if you like
- Discount codes: % off, £ off or a free session – for certain sessions, new clients only, once each, a set number of uses, between dates
- Give free sessions from a client's page – they're told straight away and they're used automatically when they book
- First session free, or a first-session price, for new clients
- Private sessions for chosen clients – “Squad sessions, only Sam, Priya and Alex”
- Never stacked, never above your normal price: clients get the single best price
Getting paid
Know who's paid without asking
Clients pay by bank transfer to your account, using your bank details and a unique reference. They tap “I've sent it” and you confirm. Cash on the day and package credits work too. Bank transfer and cash are free.
- Who owes what, on one screen
- One tap to mark a session paid
- One tap to send a polite reminder
- An automatic reminder the morning after a session if a bank transfer or “pay later” booking is still unpaid – switch it off if you prefer
- Receipts for your clients
- Earnings export (CSV) for your tax return
Instant online payments, if you want them
Connect your own Stripe account and clients can pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Pay by Bank when they book. The money goes straight to you. Instant online payments are optional and carry a Squono fee of 0.5%, capped at £1 per payment, plus Stripe's own processing fee.
The fee is your cost – it's never added to what clients pay. Refunds are automatic when you cancel, or when a client cancels within your notice period.
Not using Stripe?
Coaches who don't connect Stripe still take bank transfer and cash, with the same who-owes-what list and reminders.Automations

Messages and safeguarding
Adult to adult, always
Message the adult who made the booking in Squono instead of WhatsApp. Coaches never message children, and “Report a concern” is always there.
- An optional short health questionnaire for fitness – plain yes/no questions, once a year, sealed and shared only with the provider
- Your own terms, ticked once by each client and stored with the version and date
- When a parent books for a child, only the coach sees the child's name
- Parents can choose to share emergency contacts and medical notes with the coach for a booking
- For sessions with under-18s, the coach sees a short best-practice reminder with their sport's governing body safeguarding link
- A concern about a coach goes to the coach's club welfare officer if the coach is linked to a club, and otherwise to Squono's safeguarding team
- DBS status shows as “DBS checked” only when the coach's club has recorded it – anything else is clearly labelled “self-declared”
