About this statement

This statement applies to the Squono website and web app at squono.com and to the Squono mobile app. It is run by Wilgenry Software Limited. We want as many people as possible to be able to use Squono, and we are working towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 at level AA.

What is in place

• A clear keyboard focus outline (3 pixels) on links, buttons and form fields.
• Animations are reduced if you have turned on "reduce motion" on your device.
• A "skip to content" link on the public website pages.
• The language of every page is set to British English, so screen readers pronounce it correctly.
• Form fields have labels, and status messages are announced to screen readers.
• Club and house colours are checked for contrast, so text on them stays readable.
• The mobile app uses your phone's text size setting.

Known issues

We know some parts of Squono are not fully accessible yet:

• We have not yet had a full WCAG 2.2 AA audit, so there may be problems we don't know about.
• The signed-in web app does not have a "skip to content" link yet.
• We haven't yet tested every screen of the mobile app at the largest text sizes.

Squono Pro (match video) isn't available to schools, so video captions don't apply to school teams.

How we tested

This statement was prepared on 29 September 2026. It is based on a self-assessment by the Squono team, not an independent audit. We will update it after a full audit.

Enforcement procedure

Public sector bodies, including schools, have duties under the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018 for their own websites and apps. Whether those regulations apply to a free app supplied by a third party like Squono is not clear-cut, but equality law applies either way, and we publish this statement regardless.

The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is responsible for enforcing the accessibility regulations in England, Scotland and Wales. In Northern Ireland, if you're not happy with how we respond to a complaint, you can contact the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland.
