Club fundraising
Raise money for your club – and keep all of it
Appeals, sponsored events and sponsors, free for every club. Gifts by bank transfer go straight into the club's own account with nothing taken off, and anyone can give from a link – no app or account needed.
How it works
A fundraising page in two minutes
Tell the story, set a target if you like, and share the link on WhatsApp or by email. Supporters give by bank transfer with their own reference, or instantly online.
- A progress bar and total – or hide the amounts if you prefer
- Updates from the organisers, and a thank-you wall where each giver chooses “Sam T.” or “Anonymous”
- Messages only appear once an organiser has checked them
- Bank transfers match themselves when the treasurer imports a bank statement
- Receipts by email, and an invoice-style receipt for business sponsors
Built for clubs
Everything a committee needs
Sponsored events
A sponsored walk, run or swim: the adults taking part each get their own pledge link. For youth teams it reads “The U11s are doing a sponsored walk – collected by Sam T.” – never a page for a child.
Sponsors
Thank local businesses on your public club page, tournament pages and the members' club home. It's your acknowledgement – there are no other adverts anywhere.
Gift Aid for charities and CASCs
If your club is a registered charity or CASC, donors can add Gift Aid using HMRC's own declaration wording, and your treasurer downloads the rows for HMRC's claim schedule.
Treasurer's view
Totals by method, transfers waiting to be confirmed, Gift Aid totals and a CSV of every gift. Only treasurers see donors' email addresses.
Safe with children
No photos where a child can be identified, no children's names, and a guide to collections, raffles and sponsors with youth teams.
The club's own accounts
Bank transfers go to the club's bank account and online gifts to the club's own Stripe account. The money never passes through anyone else.
Costs
What the club keeps
Bank transfers are free: every penny of a £10 gift reaches the club.
Instant online gifts are optional and carry a Squono fee of 0.5%, capped at £1 per payment, plus Stripe's own processing fee. The fee is the club's cost – donors are never charged extra.
Compared with prize draws
Some club apps raise money through draws where the club keeps part of each entry. Spond's help centre says clubs keep 65% of Superdraw sales (source; its terms dated 9 April 2025 describe a 50% campaigner fee – source). Pitchero's lottery partner says clubs get £6 of each £10 monthly ticket (source). As published on 30 September 2026. Draws are a different thing from donations, with their own rules – and we don't run them. Also useful
